Geosat Analyses
Geosat Global Sea Level Analysis
The following seasonal maps are examples based on the
new JGM-3 Geosat GDRs,
to be distributed by NOAA/NODC in 1997.
These sea level deviations are relative to the first 2-years
of the ERM (Nov. 1986-88) and are computed by simply averaging
the GDRs in 4x1 degree cells
(i.e. no orbit adjustments have been performed).
The seasons are Winter (Dec - Feb),
Spring (Mar - May), Summer (June - Aug), and
Fall (Sep - Nov).
