Dave McAdoo
Dave McAdoo received his Ph.D. from Cornell University in
in 1976.
He has worked as
a geophysicist at NASA, and, since 1984, at NOAA, serving as Chief of the Geodynamics Branch from 1990 to 2000. His recent research has focused on polar
geodynamics including derivation of marine gravity from satellite altimetry over ice-covered polar seas. He is a member of American Geophysical Union, a co-investigator on the CryoSat Calibration-Validation team
and is serving on the GRACE Science Team for the NASA/DLR Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment (GRACE).
