Karen Marks received her Ph.D. in Geophysics from the University of Houston in 1990. She joined NOAA in 1990. Her research includes marine tectonic and geodynamic applications of satellite altimetry with emphasis on plate tectonic histories and seafloor spreading. Karen is a member of AGU.
